Our Food...

All our dishes are freshly prepared and ordered on the night!

Menu * available from 12th November 2012 until 5th January 2012.

Our food is seasonal, freshly prepared on the premises and delicious! And to make things easier for you there is no need to order before the night, just let your guests choose what they want when they arrive!
 

 


Treat your taste buds to one of our Starters...


Hearty roasted root vegetable soup with beetroot, parsnip and carrot crisps. V

Creamy Stilton and broccoli soup with Stilton-infused choux puff.

Winter fruit tower set with mulled wine and wild fruit coulis.
V

Pan-fried Red Leicester and spring onion potato cakes with sweet chilli drizzle. V

Smooth chicken liver and garlic paté with tangy Cumberland sauce and toasted croute.

Fresh salmon and prawn tartlet with creamy dill and lemon dressing.


And now for the Main Course...


A blend of poached salmon, smoked haddock and juicy prawns in a creamy béchamel sauce topped with gratinated mashed potato.   

Roast turkey escalope wrapped in bacon and served with mashed potato and cranberry port gravy.   

Slow roasted belly pork rested on creamed cabbage, served with a light thyme-infused jus.   

Fresh tubes of penne tossed through a creamy mushroom and blue cheese sauce, topped with a sun-dried tomato crush and dressed winter leaves. V

Caramelised red onion and goat’s cheese tart served on rustic ratatouille of Mediterranean vegetables and rocket pesto drizzle. V
       
All main courses are served with potatoes and seasonal vegetables


Desserts


Homemade vanilla infused cheesecake with wild fruit compote.  

Classic chocolate and Chantilly cream profiteroles drizzled with warm chocolate sauce. V  

Fresh cranberry and tangy mincemeat tartlet served with luxurious Amaretto scented whipped cream.
