Bistro Live Covid Passport Update
Everything you need to know about Covid Passport at Bistro Live 13/09/2021
Bistro Live are delighted to confirm that customers...
...be required to produce ‘so called’ COVID vaccine passports in order to gain entry into our live music restaurants.
This comes after the health secretary, Savid Javid told the BBC yesterday (Sunday 12th September 2021) that plans to introduce a scheme for nightclubs and large capacity venues will not go ahead.
Speaking on The Andrew Marr Show, Mr Javid said: "We just shouldn't be doing things for the sake of it or because others are doing, and we should look at every possible intervention properly."
He said he had "never liked the idea of saying to people you must show your papers" to "do what is just an everyday activity".
"We've looked at it properly and, …I'm pleased to say that we will not be going ahead with plans for vaccine passports," he added.
Bistro Live Director Mark Henderson said: -
"This is great news, and at last gives us clarity going forwards...
...It’s been really frustrating not knowing what to say to our customers who have been asking what our policy is on this, when we didn’t know what the scheme was due to lack of government guidance.
...Now it’s been scrapped, we can carry on taking bookings with confidence."
Have you been apprehensive about booking your parties due to the Covid Passport? Well you've got the green light!
